Psychotherapy Services
We offer individual, family, and group therapies.
All treatment begins with an initial intake assessment, where you and your therapist collaboratively decide on an appropriate treatment plan.
At West Morris Psychological Associates, we know that access to mental health services can take time and realize how important it is to begin treatment in a timely way.
As a result, we try to schedule new patients as quickly as possible to start the initial intake assessment and treatment process.
Telehealth Services
Sessions are offered either via telehealth or in person in our Chester office.
Should you choose to be treated via telehealth, then our sessions will take place via doxy.me video conferencing. Doxy.me is a telemedicine platform that is specifically meant for use by healthcare professionals and is compliant with HIPAA security and privacy laws.
During your telehealth sessions, it will be important you and/or your child to have a private location so that we can meet uninterrupted for a full 45 minutes. For younger children, some parent guidance may be required and parents are encouraged to attend part of the telehealth sessions to provide feedback and to receive a summary of treatment and homework.
Both parents and children should have complete privacy during each of their turns on video.
For individuals out of state we are able to provide therapy as PSYPACT-credentialed providers. Drs Hansen, Watson-Perez, and Thom-Hayes all have the authority to practice inter-jurisdictional telepsychology through PSYPACT. This service is especially beneficial for individuals who move out of state or attend college in another state for the purposes of continuity of care.
